Moving Forward: Exploring Changes, Challenges and Opportunities for the EYFS

A four-part programme for EYFS leaders and teachers who want to embed a vision for learning and explore quality practice in the EYFS

Description

While now familiar with the new framework and associated guidance, it is vital that both EYFS leaders and teachers feel confident about how to successfully implement these changes moving forward with a clear set of principles.

This four-part course will support participants to create and embed a vision for learning and teaching at both a strategic and practical level, and develop a shared understanding of what quality practice is.

With lots of opportunities for discussion, delegates will reflect on their own expertise and enrich their professional knowledge of outstanding early years, as they focus on how to shape actions for the future development of their EYFS.

We will focus on many of the pertinent issues including curriculum, assessment, vocabulary and the “lost learning” agenda.

Benefits

  • Reflect on and evaluate current EYFS planning and provision
  • To establish a clear view of quality in the EYFS and consider how to successfully move practice and provision forward
