Each 90-minute webinar focuses on key aspects of this approach with new ideas and inspiration for planning and practice.


Part 1: Defining Enquiry Based Learning

Consider the principles of enquiry and its impact on children’s learning, with reference to a diverse range of case studies.

Part 2: A Model for Enquiry

Explore in depth a model for introducing enquiry to your medium-term planning and your day to day practice. 

Part 3: Developing Approaches to Planning

Examine how to plan an enquiry that makes clear links to National Curriculum expectations.

Audience

This introductory three-part package is designed for those looking to establish provision in KS1. Focusing on key principles, consider how to plan your space and prioritise areas to enable children to make progress and explore how to use effective continuous provision to support the demands of the KS1 curriculum and provide rich opportunities for challenge.


 

Securing Children's Progress in KS1

This three-part webinar follows on from the Rethinking Practice in KS1 package and is designed for those looking to extend working with provision in KS1. With dedicated sessions exploring the role of the adult and how to evidence learning and demonstrate progress, this package will support you to embed and deepen your understanding about this approach in KS1.
