Join us for this programme of three webinars which have been designed to provide insightful CPD opportunities for your KS1 team to refresh their knowledge and rethink practice.
Each 90-minute webinar focuses on key aspects of pedagogy with new ideas and inspiration for practice and provision. There will be recommended pre-course and gap tasks to undertake to maximise impact, and you will also receive additional resources to use back in school and to enrich your learning.
Part 1: The Rationale for Change
Consider the key principles of child development and recognise the importance of understanding how children learn as we explore how to plan provision that builds on previous experiences.
Part 2: Designing the Classroom
Revisit the principles of effective continuous provision and start to consider how to plan your space and prioritise areas to enable children to make progress.
Part 3: Linking Provision to the Curriculum
Consider how to closely link continuous provision to support the demands of the KS1 curriculum and provide rich opportunities for exploration and challenge.
For those looking to rethink their provision, refresh their understanding or as an introduction for anyone new to working with Y1 & Y2
