The programme includes:

  • An Introductory Overview, which outlines how to use the programme with your team to maximise impact

  • Three sequential Webinar Training Sessions, for you and your team to share, either together or individually

  • Two Virtual Learning Walks which highlight maths in the EYFS & KS1 environment and help you consider how to strengthen mathematical thinking through provision

  • Six Practical Tips Videos that share practical activities and resources to support direct teaching of key concepts in EYFS & KS1

The programme explores: 

  • The fundamental principles that underpin early learning and the effective teaching of maths 

  • The latest curriculum guidance for EYFS & KS1 along with recent research about using “real world contexts”

  • The learning environment and how to ensure it fully supports children’s mathematical thinking
