Strengthening Writing Outcomes in the EYFS

Inspire young writers and raise standards in writing in the EYFS

Description

Guiding and supporting children’s early writing is a skilful process and this will be explored in depth during this practical session. Starting with child development and taking the latest research into account, practitioners will consider the experiences, activities and support they provide to promote children’s passion, confidence and skill in writing. Using a range of video clips as a staring point, we will outline and discuss children’s writing development and hear inspiring case studies leading to lots of opportunities for practitioners to evaluate their own practice and plan the way forward.
