Outdoor Learning Whatever the Weather

Description

The entitlement to outdoor provision is at the heart of effective practice in EYFS and through into KS1. There is a clear expectation that the outdoor environment is available and used well every day; whatever the time of year and whatever the weather.

With positive attitudes and thinking, this time of year can provide many unique and valuable learning opportunities. This practical session will provide lots of examples of real practice which highlight the benefits of children being outdoors in all seasons. Delegates will explore ways to make the most of the season, finding solutions for constraints and barriers, as well as inspirational ideas!

Benefits:

  • A clear understanding of the critical role outdoor learning has across the year

  • Support to review and improve your outdoors space

  • Imaginative and practical ideas for outdoor learning in all seasons
