Focusing on the fundamentals of teaching Mathematics in the Early Years, this course has been designed to provide insightful CPD for EYFS teams, refreshing knowledge and offering inspirational ideas to achieve high quality teaching and effective learning.
This CPD will be highly informative, packed with both subject knowledge and practical solutions to enable schools to reflect on their approach to teaching Maths throughout the EYFS. They will examine the principles that underpin this key early learning in the journey to mastery as we explore the most effective strategies for teaching Maths and offer fresh impetus for teaching Maths with sufficient cognitive, contextual & collaborative challenge.
Part 1: Early Mathematical Experiences

Explore practical ideas for the effective use of the learning environment, resources and routines to enable meaningful mathematical experiences.
