Senior Leader Briefing: Spring 2025

Providing School Leaders with clarity, advice & guidance to understand the implications of national issues & policy direction

Description

Join the Senior Leadership Briefing this Spring and gain valuable insight into the latest DfE and Ofsted guidance alongside strategic support for the continuous improvement of EYFS and KS1.

As the Children’s Wellbeing and Schools Bill 2024-25 makes its way through the parliamentary system, it is evident that significant change will impact on all those working in the education sector.

There have also been multiple announcements from the Government regarding the Early Years, including a significant uplift to Early Years Pupil Premium, and a further commitment to extending pre-school family support; all of which is taking place amidst challenging economic times for schools and settings.

The EYFS continues to evolve, and leaders will need to prepare for the new statutory requirements relating to safe-guarding and staffing that will be in place from September 2025.  At the same time Ofsted is transitioning to a new model of working, as we the anticipate the launch of a new inspection framework in the Autumn.

Amidst this period of change, research continues to explore how we can be the most effective leaders and practitioners – ensuring that all children experience a high-quality education, right from the start.

Unpicking the detail and impact across the different strands of the education sector can often be challenging, so join us in March to gain a wealth of information to keep you feeling confident in your knowledge and ahead of the latest developments in education research pertinent to early childhood.
